Monday we had an afternoon of classes during a pretty intense thunderstorm, followed by swimming for some.
This morning we visited a high school and volunteered in various ways: fertilizing trees, picking up garbage, sanding desks and painting desks. We returned to our families for lunch and are now waiting for our second day of school to begin. Tomorrow we will go to the capital for sightseeing and shopping.
